The employees of Hawaii Energy Systems rallied to support the Hawaii Food Bank by initiating a Virtual Food Drive. We raised more than $1,000 and had several cases of food collected and donated to this great organization. For more information on them and to donate please visit hawaiifoodbank.com.
Last month, HLTA’s Aloha Later Food Distribution program in partnership with Aloha Harvest provided boxes filled with approximately 50 pounds of food to 1,500 families containing 35 lbs of fresh produce, 2 lbs of protein, bread, milk, eggs and assorted dry goods.
Thanks to our employees and our industry friends who volunteered to sort and distribute the groceries to those affected by the slowdown of tourism to our islands.
